Folliculitis

Folliculitis is a skin infection that occurs around the hair follicles. You are more likely to develop folliculitis if you are around whirlpools, swimming pools and hot tubs that are not well chlorinated or are contaminated with bacteria. People undergoing antibiotic or corticosteroid treatment are also more likely to develop folliculitis.
